About Prism

Prism is a developer of MIS/ERP (management information systems and enterprise resource planning) software products for the printing and graphic arts industry. We maintain fully staffed offices around the world. Our products, Prism WIN MIS and Prism QTMS automated shop floor management and work in progress tracking software, have been available around the world for over 25 years. Prism’s solutions range from job quoting and costing through production planning, inventory management, shop floor management, materials ordering, sales order processing and financial accounts and are scalable from mid-sized organisations to large, multi plant businesses.

General commercial and web printing

Prism WIN and QTMS are strong solutions for general commercial sheetfed, web, and digital printers. In fact, our solutions work especially well in companies with all of these processes. The flexibility and configurability of WIN and QTMS allows for distinct, fast, and automated workflows all on a common database and common accounts. Our partnerships with the likes of Heidelberg, Goss, manroland, Mitsubishi, HP, and others ensure a fully integrated and connected workflow. Specialist shop floor productivity management tool, Prism QTMS, is used to report in real time on press and bindery machine performance – highlighting productivity measures including throughput, downtime, paper wastage, ink usage etc. QTMS is available as a fully integrated module on WIN, or can be integrated to your own MIS.

Many of our customers are mailers and publication printers and we can integrate with the largest mailing applications as well as in-house and bespoke mailing solutions.

Labels, packaging and converters

Prism has been providing MIS/ERP products and services to the best-managed converters around the world. We are consistently among the first to introduce new concepts, many times in partnership with leading companies in the print industry. Prism WIN and QTMS are ideal for converters. WIN works in multiple units of measure even when estimating, job planning, inventory, and purchasing require different units for the same material. QTMS tracks raw material usage from inventory to finished product for the kind of traceability necessary in many converting product lines. Dies are inventoried, allocated, and scheduled intuitively and accurately. And integration to partners like Kodak, Xeikon, Esko-Artworks, and Agfa ensure that your Prism solution fits well into your overall workflow.
